茂野優太（しげの・ゆうた）
1991年生まれ、水中写真家。写真・映像・文章など様々な手段で海の魅力を伝える。
伊豆半島でダイビングに出会い、こんなに近い場所に美しい海があることに感動し、水中写真を始める。
現在は世界各国の海を撮影しながら、特に極寒期の知床にて流氷の下の海をテーマに多く撮影を行う。日本の各エリア、久米島や伊豆半島、湘南の海のプロモーションの仕事に多くかかわりながら、伊豆半島の観光施設等とコラボした写真展を開催。
また、静岡県を舞台にする映画「海の色は夢の続き」の水中撮影を担当、BS朝日海中を旅するに出演する等、幅広く活動する。

Yuta Shigeno
Born 1991, underwater photographer.
Conveying the charm of the sea by various ways, photos, videos, texts, etc.
First diving experience was in Izu when deeply moved to know there is a beautiful sea so nearby and began taking underwater pictures.
Now taking pictures around the world and, especially with the theme “sea under drift ice” in Shiretoko, Hokkaido at mid-winter, taking many pictures.
Being involved in many promotion activities for sea in Kume island, Izu Peninsula, Shonan and other areas in Japan, and also has photo exhibitions collaborating with tourist facilities and others.
Furthermore, worked as a photographer for a movie “Umi no iro wa yume no tuzuki (The color of the sea is the continuation of a dream)” which was set in Sizuoka Pref..Engaging in a wide range of activities such as appearing in the TV program “Kaichuu wo tabisuru (Exploring the undersea)” by BS Asahi.
